NOTICE: This is primarily a WEEKEND position – Availability must include at least Friday, Saturday and Sunday to be considered for the position.

Lock City Adventures is looking to hire a new Lead Adventure Guide at our recently opened Newnan location! Adventure Guides will assist customers from start to finish once they enter our doors, by taking them through whichever attraction(s) they choose to participate in while in our facilities.

Current attractions at the location we’re hiring at include:

  • 1 Rage Room
  • 2 Axe Throwing 2.0 Lanes

Lead Adventure Guide candidates must be available to work weekends.

Skill requirements:

  • Management Experience – Industry doesn’t matter, we’re looking for a leader
  • Customer service skills
  • Coachable and willing to learn new attractions as they are released
  • Enthusiastic about bringing joy to others
  • Self-motivated
  • A quick thinker and hard worker
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Mature and Professional
  • Posses entry level computer typing skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

As a Lead Adventure Guide you will:

  • Manage Adventure Guides at your location
  • Work with our District Manager to ensure smooth location operations
  • Manage staff scheduling
  • Take inventory at close of day and relay this information to Headquarters
  • Work directly with the District Manager and Executives to streamline systems and create new policies
  • Meet and greet customers as they arrive
  • Tell the story and/or rules of the chosen adventure
  • Closely monitor players throughout their experience and assist as required
  • Prepare attractions for each team / group
  • Provide small maintenance to props if needed (replace axe throwing target wood)
  • Answer the phone to book appointments or answer questions
  • Process customers as they come into the facility
  • Coordinate with co-workers to ensure all adventures begin promptly and go as smooth as possible
  • Complete daily facility tasks as designated by management (cleaning, preparing breakables, resetting games, clean rage room debris, etc…)

Lock City employee uniforms consist of blue jeans, a black polo shirt (company provided) and black shoes.
